Kollaasi on tehty valokuvailmaisun kurssilla, ja kaikki sen kuvamateriaali on itse tuottamaani. Inspiraation sain vanhoista aakkosjulisteita. Koska työ on nimenomaan henkilökohtaisesta näkökulmasta tehty, yritin valita joka kirjaimelle asian, josta ihan oikeasti pidän. Englanninkielinen siitä tuli siksi, että suomalaisten sanojen keksiminen vierasperäisiin kirjaimiin kävi liian raastavaksi. Olen lopputulokseen hyvin tyytyväinen, päätyy seinälle heti kun keksin jonkin fiksun ripustussystemin.
Pahvin hain taiteilijatarvikekaupasta, napit ovat omasta nappilootasta ja nauhat ompelupuodista. Paperitarvikket, kuten valkoiset pahvikirjaimet, leimasimet ja leimattujen tekstien pohjapaperi ovat askartelukaupasta. Otsikon kirjaimet ovat Alfapet-palikoita, askartelulaatikon kirjainvalikoima loppui kesken, niin pihistinpä sitten muutaman pelihyllyssä olevasta kappaleesta. Ei sitä varmaan kukaan huomaa.

C is for Collage
This collage is made at my photographing course, and all the pictures are taken by me. It was inspired of old alphabet posters. Because the viewpoint was personal, I tried to choose things I really like. And I made it in English, cause it was so much easier that way. In Finnish we don't have that many words beginning with for example c, d, g, x, y, w and z. I'm happy with the result and the collage will end up to the wall right after I come up with an easy way to hang it.
I bought the cardboard from an art supply shop, ribbons are from draper's and buttons from my own collection. White cardboard letters, stamps and paper used as a background for stamped texts are from craft store. Letters of the title are from a game called Alfapet, a Swedish version of Scrabble. I had some old ones for crafting, but cause I ran out of them I stole couple from our own game. I guess no-one will notice anyway.

On tosi ihana tuo! Mulla on ihan visio siitä, miten tuon sais ehkä nätisti esille, mutta ehkä annan sun ihan itse päättää. :)
